    This porsches are turbocharged versions??? If so LFA is running excelent!
    If it is 997 GT3 Cup, is aspirated with 1200 kg and 450 hp..

  2. ZORN606 sagt:

    studying the porsche a bit..

  4. suprastar2 sagt:

    @shallowEND09 No disrespect but Porsche have been going to the Ring with the 911s for 30 years now do you really think if Lexus/Toyota had the same experience they’d probably be there right there with them.The LFA has only been racing there 4 years an to be honest its come along way in a short time and who know’s what the future holds.

  5. suprastar2 sagt:

    @timkuv Yep thats correct.The big difference with the LFA and the Porsche Cup cars is weight I’m pretty sure those Porsche’s are upwards of 100-200 kg lighter than the LFA as the LFA’s race weight is 1450 KG.

  6. timkuv sagt:

    corner for corner the LFA seems faster but the porches have more speed on the straight. Aren’t theses LFA’s limited to under 8k RPM?

  7. leedaocheng sagt:

    @AllYourBase420 wont do my friend tats no ordinary porsche tats the manthey porsche the king of nurburgring who won the 24hr many times

  8. StRyKeR1987 sagt:

    this cars engine sounds are so brutal ;) nice driving!!!

  9. suprastar2 sagt:

    This years version of these LFA’s seem to be alot faster than previous as in Practice they were doing 8.25 as there fastest recorded lap which is upwards of 10 sec.s a lap quicker than last years lap times.I’m really interested to no why as this throws them up there with the fastest cars in the event and for an SP8 car its a full 25 odd seconds quicker than the Aston Martin Zagato’s.

    @559ricer
    Oh the LFA is a Very good car. im happy that its good in the race.

    i was thinking of it in the normal spec, not race spec against the 458, aventador… i dont think it will be better. just a feeling. but the price is WOW!

    @ColDuSack I did a number of Forza 3 15 lap endurance races online. I push it pretty hard and risk fuel consumption as well as tire wear all the time. It’s a goddamn 2+ hour race and I don’t let off the aggression for one bit.

  12. 559ricer sagt:

    @mrbenyong why are you disapointed about the lfa performance? they won 1st in their class (sp8) and 5th overall i’d say thats pretty damn good

  13. ColDuSack sagt:

    @ColDuSack in frnt of the 24h race i mean. But dude, no offence, but this is why all theese hobby-Gran-Turismo-drivers don´t get over 1 Lap at the Nürburgring. They don´t respect, they restart :) PEACE!

  14. ColDuSack sagt:

    @rtviews I don´t think so, but i do think that nobody´s pushing their chances over razors-edge to gain one position. You must remember that the 24h endurance race is THE event of the year, like Monte Carlo in the WRC, or like Monaco in the F1 Championship. And you should see the importance of theese two LF-A cars running at the Nürburgring. Theese are the only two race cars of this once prototype build, ever. Don´t get me wrong, but i don´t think a good driver´s gonna push his luck to hard then.

  15. fligtstar11 sagt:

    nothin is better then a porsche on this track as you can see on the manthey porsche gt3rsr

  16. AllYourBase420 sagt:

    Oh look a Porsche. Lemme just get a GTR to smoke it for a quarter of the price.

  17. rtviews sagt:

    @ColDuSack I guess all the porsche must be stupid to go all out prior to the big race then.

  18. suprastar2 sagt:

    @ChrisPatterson1986 I’m just going by what I’m seeing in the footage I think on the balance side of things the LFA braking wise is right there with the 911 as it has 52 rear 48 front weight distribution.But as many have mentioned in my eyes Porsche are still the benchmark when it comes to making practical Supercars and the 911 is a clear indication of this.

  19. SaKuLification sagt:

    @eva325i
    Genau das meine ich. Aber abgesehen davon ist die Karre einfach Mist :D

  20. eva325i sagt:

    @SaKuLification
    Dem ist auch so.Speziell 3. und 4. Gang scheinen mir hier zu kurz zu sein.Gerade diese Gänge sind aber auf der Nos so wichtig

  21. ColDuSack sagt:

    Lol, didn´t all of you selfmade-expert-guys even recognize that the LF-A Driver is going easy on the engine? He isn´t even nearly pushing the gears up to their limit. Remember: Next race is the 24h hours endurance race, and to destroy the car now, would be worst case scenario! So maybe they just try to finish, without pushing their chances to hard! PEACE!

  22. wilmajacki sagt:

    Guys.. Main reason why the lexus is even slower than a cup porsche (gt3 r and gt3 rsr even much more) is that its weight is 1450 kg and the porsche only got 1250 kg. I think i dont have to explain what that means for acceleration, breaking and cornering !!

  23. oregonistoowet sagt:

    German drivers, driving German cars on a German track. Is it possible they have more experience on the Ring than the Japanese driver, driving a Japanese car on a foreign track?

  24. nickeroo sagt:

    You cannot compare this to the road car. These are racing cars, its a different legaue and many different varibles can make a car have the edge from chassis to aero dynamics to reliability etc etc. Porsche have been honing the 911 GT cars for decades and this is the back garden.

    @mrbenyong wt about Datsun GTR,SLS and 599 GTO?I mean..it may not be just about the layout
